I have no clue of how we are spending this New Years Eve evening. Therefore I don't know what to wear. I've got four outfits, two in case we want to go glam, and another two if we are going really comfy and relaxed.
The two dresses are the same in terms of color, but they are both different in style. If we go glam I am leaning towards the one on the right, its like a halterneck dress. Both have a bow that you tie in the back.
The bottom two I was thinking (of course with either leggings or denim) the one to the left hand side. You cant really see the color, its more of a charcoal grey. I might not even go with any of these, who knows. I'll give you guys and update on what I end up wearing.
Hope everyone has a great evening and an incredible New Year!

What to wear tonight?

Happy New Year!!!
Today is New Years Eve, a day which marks both an end and beginning. This year was quite eventful, at the beginning of the year I got engaged. And in July, I tied the knot with my beau of almost four years. Although we went to New York City in November, we don't consider that our honeymoon. We are hoping a well deserved honeymoon will occur in 2008.
Just recently I have found my way back to what I use to love, writing. I hope to fill pages and pages here in the future, and hopefully acquire new readers and friends out there.
My plans for the up and coming year are many. I am hoping to do some travelling in the beginning of the year. I also have plans of going back to studying, which sounds crazy as I begged to get out of there.
I wish everyone a Happy New Year, may it be prosperous and eventful!

Review of the Murad Mask
During the holidays I got the chance to try out that Murad mask (Exfoliating Fruit Enzyme Mask). The one I mentioned that I picked up at Sephora, while I was down in New York. Its not a mask that dries up like a mud mask, this one is a gel mask. It has a bit of a chemical peel effect, almost stings your skin. I like the result as it did leave your skin feeling smooth afterwards, and dead surface cells went away as I washed off the mask. But for those of you with sensitive skin, I would not recommend it. Otherwise a good product for those once in a while "pamper myself" moments.

Jumbo Lip Pencil
My all time favorite make up store were giving out a free Jumbo Lip Pencil. The offer was for Beauty Insider members and for today only. Although the boxing day rush, I got myself to the nearest Sephora store and picked me up one of these beauty items. There weren't many colors to choose from, so I just picked whatever.

Xmas has past...
I took a little break during the holiday, a well needed rest for sure. The dinner get together turned out pretty alright, I think all of us enjoyed it. Goodie bags seemed to be a hit, not many were expecting them. Yesterday was all about spending time with the family and watching the kids go nuts over their gifts. As I mentioned before, us oldies don't get to sit on Santa's lap anymore, so I wasn't expecting anything. But I guess I have been a good girl, cause I got a set of two lovely Japanese bowls with cherry blossom motive. And to add to my beauty collection I also got a set of Elizabeth Arden Lip glosses in a chic little photo book.

Giftwrapping and Goodie bags
Oh gosh, I have spent the whole evening wrapping Christmas gifts and making goodie bags. And I also managed to vacuum and finish off the laundry. I don't like leaving things for the last minute, but I find myself quite often in that position where I'm running around panicking. So now the gifts are wrapped, got two more gifts to go. But the last ones are always the hardest to figure out. The goodie bags are for tomorrow nights get together, that I planned for the "youngsters" in the family. I am hoping to turn this dinner to an annual event. I did the goodie bags last year as a surprise, so I thought it would be nice to do it again. I hope everyone likes it!

eye candy
For the past few days, I have been coming home with my shoes all soaked from the snow. I close my eyes and dream of more pleasant weather. Weather suitable enough to wear these creations. I found this pair of adorable White Quilted Skimmers by ChloƩ. The soft leather has a stitched detailing to give that quilted effect. Awesome with a pair of denim.
And this black Valentino creation, just makes you want to faint! Its a Patent Pump with Bow. The heel is 4½", and the front is topped of with a chic little bow that gives it that little extra. Perfect for that dressy look or with a pair of skinny leg denims for that more casual chic look.
